We have several warehouses with products that ship directly to you, to a dealer near you, or here to the shop for you to pick it up. A Little About Us   

My Dad was an avid hunter, shooter, and more than anything a Gun collector. He would buy, sell and mostly traded almost any type of firearm someone wanted to trade or sell and accumulated quite a collection. He appreciated the fine workmanship and ornate aesthetics of the early firearms that made them a work of art. They are meant to be treasured and appreciated. They certainly are not the evil destructive creatures some people want you to believe today. After he retired from the Sheriff’s Office, he started a gun shop downtown, using part of his collection to get started. He built it up for about ten years, until his health forced him to sell.

I grew up with guns, they were simply a part of life. I started shooting when I could hold a gun, and I inherited his appreciation for them. I was in the Air Force, Law Enforcement, and I’ve done competition shooting, and have hunted for more than fifty years.  Now days I’m not always fast with the answer, and may not always be right, but I’ll always make it right for you and get you what you want. Our name comes from the deer we love to hunt. When I was growing up here in this central Arizona desert, I thought the only deer in Arizona were the desert Mule Deer we always hunted near home, or up by Chino Valley where my family had been hunting for generations. When I was still in the Air Force, I was stationed in Sierra Vista, Az in the Southeastern part of the state. That’s where I first saw these small, little White Tail Deer, known as Coues Whitetail Deer. They are small, greyish color deer that have earned the name Grey Ghosts. They are so small they can virtually vanish right before your eyes. My daughter used to say that Scotty Beamed them up. They just take a couple of steps, and they are behind cover whether it be grass, trees, ocotillo cactus, or just the rocky terrain they like so well. They are very unique animals, and a real challenge for most hunters. Once most hunters experience Coues deer hunting, they are addicted. They only live in Southeastern Arizona, Northern Mexico near the Arizona/Mexico border, and in southwestern New Mexico. I’ve been chasing them for over 35 years now and will continue until I can’t. You don’t have to take one to have a successful hunt, just seeing them, watching them, and taking their picture is a success. I spend hours just watching them.
